After leading the Boston Red Sox to their fourth World Series title, Steve Pearce was awarded not just MVP honors, but also an all-new Chevrolet Silverado LT Trail Boss.

The MLB star hit a .333 for the Series (4-for-12) with a 1.167 slugging percentage, following three homers and a double. He also drove in eight runs and managed to score five. The Red Sox won the World Series 4-1 against the Los Angeles Dodgers.

“In a matchup of the two best teams in baseball, Steve Pearce’s performance on the field tonight and throughout the World Series truly embodies the same spirit that drives the Chevrolet team to win every day,” stated Chevrolet VP Brian Sweeney. “We are proud to recognize Pearce’s tremendous efforts with the Willie Mays World Series MVP award and the all-new Chevrolet Silverado LT Trail Boss pickup.”

Chevy has been the official vehicle partner of Major League Baseball since 2005, as well as an official partner of Play Ball, MLB’s collective effort to encourage young people to take up baseball and softball-related activities.

As for what makes the 2019 Silverado LT Trail Boss special, that would be its 2-inch suspension lift and Z71 Off-Road Package, which includes the locking rear differential, skid plates, Rancho shocks, 18-inch wheels and Goodyear DuraTrac off-road tires.

Other highlights include the standard 3.0-liter turbo-diesel unit, a best-in-class cargo box volume, the all-new Durabed that’s touted as the most functional bed of any pickup, and a CornerStep bumper with larger footwells.
