Nissan’s full-size NV Cargo and NV Passenger vans live to see another model year in the United States.

Introduced for the 2012MY, the vans receive subtle updates for 2019. The 2019 Nissan NV Cargo starts at $29,340, which is what customers will pay for the NV 1500 Cargo Standard Roof S with the 4.0-liter V6 engine. As for the NV 3500 Passenger S equipped with the same engine, it’s priced from $35,660. Both account for increases of $610 over the 2018 model year, excluding the $1,395 destination and handling fee.

The main update for 2019 is the addition of a standard 7.0-inch display audio AM/FM system. The interface offers AUX and USB ports, Streaming Audio via Bluetooth, and Bluetooth with voice recognition. The new system replaces the previously-available 5.0-inch color display and is standard on all grades.

Another change regards the NV Cargo, on which the Backdoor Glass Package availability has been expanded to S and SV V8 grades.

As before, the standard engine is a 261-hp 4.0-liter V6 gasoline unit mated to a five-speed automatic transmission. Both the NV Passenger and NV Cargo are also available with a 375-hp 5.6-liter Endurance V8 unit, linked to a heavy-duty seven-speed automatic transmission.

The 2019 Nissan NV Cargo is available in three versions (NV1500, NV2500 HD and NV3500 HD), and two roof configurations (Standard Roof and High Roof). It also features body-on-frame construction across the entire lineup. The van offers room to fit two 40×48-inch (1,016×1,219-mm) pallets, 10-foot (3,048-mm) piping or 4×8-foot (1,219×2,438-mm) drywall sheets. In total, buyers can choose between three grades (S, SV, and SL) and up to 324 possible seat configurations with a maximum passenger capacity of 12 people.

Both the 2019 NV Cargo and NV Passenger vans are available to order at Nissan Commercial Vehicle dealers across the United States.
