Brabus remains one of the finest tuning companies to ever work on vehicles from Mercedes-Benz, and its latest project could be the best yet.
The owner of this Mercedes-AMG E63 S came to the conclusion that despite the car using a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 delivering 603 hp and 627 lb-ft (850 Nm) of torque, it wasn’t quite quick enough. Consequently, they called upon Brabus to sprinkle some magic fairy dust and turn it into an entirely new beast.
Modifications started in the engine bay, where a pair of new turbochargers were installed. Accompanied by a number of other mechanical upgrades, the super sedan’s overhauled powertrain now delivers 789 hp and 737 lb-ft (1000 Nm) of torque.
A selection of other changes also make this Brabus E63 stand out from the pack. For starters, it has been outfitted with a stunning matte green vinyl wrap from Fostla. To complement the wrap, the car also features aftermarket wheels painted gloss black with bright orange accents that match the orange brake calipers.
Completing the changes is a carbon fiber front splitter, a sports exhaust system with black ceramic-coated tailpipes, and a new diffuser.
Buying a Mercedes-AMG E63 from the factory doesn’t come cheap, and outfitting one with modifications as comprehensive as these are not for the faint of heart. Fortunately, the changes have come together perfectly to create a desirable package.
