Citroen is pricing its new C5 Aircross from £23,225 OTR in the UK, with order books opening December 3rd and the official ‘on sale’ date set for February 4th of 2019.

The previously mentioned price tag is for the PureTech 130 S&S 6-speed manual version, which comes equipped with a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and the latest 8-inch HD touchscreen display as standard. Also standard is a wide array of safety and driver assistance technologies.

These include Advanced Active Safety Brake, Active Lane Departure Warning and Active Blind Spot Monitoring. The new C5 Aircross also features ConnectedCAM Citroen and Wireless Smartphone Charging, as well Grip Control with Hill Descent Assist.

Three trim levels will be made available in the Feel, Flair and Flair Plus, each getting a wide range of personalization options to go with the grand total of 30 exterior color combinations. As for powertrains, a range of Euro 6.2 PureTech petrol and BlueHDI diesels are available, as is the latest-gen 8-speed automatic gearbox.

For the exterior, buyers can start by choosing one of the following seven body colors: Polar White (standard colour), along with optional shades Volcano Red (Pearlescent), Cumulus Grey (Metallic), Platinum Grey (Metallic), Tijuca Blue (Metallic) , Perla Nera Black (Pearlescent) and Pearl White (Pearlescent). They can then go for the Perla Nera Black roof, which is available as an option on Flair and Flair Plus versions, with four selected body colors.

Meanwhile, three Color Packs can help you further customize the front bumper, Airbump panels and under roof bars: Anodised Silver Colour Pack (standard spec), Anodised White and Anodised Red Colour Packs are optional across the range.

Inside the cabin, there’s a choice between the Standard Ambiance, the Metropolitan Grey Ambiance and the Hype Brown Ambiance. The first features Silica Grey cloth seat upholstery, whereas the other two boast Grey Grained leather and Brown Nappa leather respectively.

As for tech features, aside from the previously-mentioned ones, there’s also Citroen Connect Nav with TomTom (standard on Flair and Flair Plus), Citroen Connect Box, and Mirror Screen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, the latter two being standard on all trim levels.

The new C5 Aircross is also set to be the first Citroen model with plug-in hybrid technology, coming in early 2020.
