The crash took place last week in Tver, Russia, on a rain-soaked night. It’s just one of those scenarios where you’re better off reducing speed, something these two drivers obviously did not take into account.
The person driving the blue Dacia/Renault Logan was definitely too aggressive in trying to get past the other sedan, a move that’s ill-advised, especially while coming up on a crosswalk flanked by multiple road signs.
We can only imagine what that woman went through as she realized that neither car would be able to stop. A good thing that she managed to escape unhurt, since the two cars, especially the Logan, were moving too fast for the road conditions.
Even though the video’s description doesn’t provide us with any details regarding the aftermath, we hope that authorities were called on the scene and that the two drivers were reprimanded in a way that’ll make them think twice before driving like that again.
