Porsche is set to unveil its all-new 911 ahead of this year’s LA Auto Show next week on November 27. The event takes place in Carson at 8 PM local time (11 PM EST), and will be broadcast live.
Since we don’t want you to miss out, we’re bringing you a way to watch the unveiling as it happens (video posted below), as we’re sure that you’re also eagerly awaiting to see Stuttgart’s latest and greatest two-door model pose for the cameras.
Afterwards, the car will take center stage at the 2018 Los Angeles Auto Show, which opens its gates to the press November 26 through 29, and to the public on Friday, November 30 until December 9.
Despite appearances from Jeep’s new pickup truck, Audi’s facelifted R8, BMW‘s 8-Series Convertible and Lincoln’s production-ready Aviator, the all-new 2020 Porsche 911 (992) will undoubtedly be the star of the show, thanks mostly to its reputation, rather than its appearance.
In fact, except for a slightly more streamlined exterior, the new 911 looks pretty much just like the old one, with the biggest difference being the design of the taillights. Inside, it will take after the new Panamera, with a brand new instrument panel, touch-operated switchgear and a large infotainment display.
As for its engine range, starting us off will be the new Carrera and Carrera S versions, which will reportedly use a turbocharged 3.0-liter six-cylinder unit, good for 390 PS (384 HP) in the former and some 450 PS (443 HP) in the latter.
