The new Mercedes-Benz B-Class has arrived in the United Kingdom and is available in two trim levels and with two engines, each with two outputs.
Priced from £26,975 ($34,387/€30,298) the base B180 Sport comes with standard MBUX infotainment, reversing camera, DAB radio, dual-zone climate control, 17-inch wheels, LED headlights, Speed Limit Assist, Active Lane Keeping Assist, keyless-go and several visual touches.
Next is the B180 AMG Line, which starts at £28,175 ($35,917/€31,645) and adds adds 18-inch wheels, AMG exterior styling, a 3-spoke steering wheel, sports seats, Artico and Dinamica microfiber upholstery with red contrast stitching and carbon-structure trim.
Optional gear includes the Executive pack with 10.25-inch media display, Active Park Assist, heated front seats and mirror package, for £1,395 ($1,778/€1,567), while £2,259 ($2,880/€2,537) will get you the Premium package, with the 10.25-inch instrument cluster, ambient lighting, keyless-entry and mid-range sound system.

The Premium Plus equipment line adds electrically adjustable front seats with memory function, Multibeam LED headlights with adaptive highbeam assist and panoramic glass roof for £3,459 ($4,409/€3,885).
There’s the Driving Assistance package available as an optional extra, too, for £1,695 ($2,161/€1,904), and comes with active and passive driving features, while customers can also order the Advanced Navigation package, for £495 ($631/€556), and the Advanced Connectivity package, for £495 ($631/€556).
Powering the new B180 model is a turbocharged 1.3-liter petrol engine co-developed with Renault-Nissan. It pushes out 134 PS (132 hp / 98 kW) and 200 Nm (148 lb-ft) of torque, and it’s also found in the B200, where it puts out 161 PS (159 hp / 119 kW) and 320 Nm (236 lb-ft) of torque.
Offered in the same Sport and AMG Line grades, the B200d and B220d both use the same 2.0-liter diesel engine. In the former, it pushes out 148 PS (146 hp / 109 kW) and 320 Nm (236 lb-ft) of torque, while in the latter, it’s good for 188 PS (185 hp / 138 kW) and 400 Nm (295 lb-ft) of torque.
