The chance of owning a second-hand Ford GT is pretty rare, so coming across one of the special ‘67 Heritage Editions is quite a treat.
Ford offered the ‘67 Heritage Edition option to a small portion of the 500 customers that ordered a 2018 GT. The 2018 Heritage Edition featured a bright Race Red paintwork with white stripes and ‘No.1’ graphics, 20-inch forged aluminum wheels, red brake calipers, a black interior with red stitching and more.
The specific example we have here has popped up for sale in Germany and is virtually brand new as it has covered just 12 miles (20km) on the odometer per the ad on James Edition.
Whether Ford themselves would like to stay in the way of the sale we don’t know, since last time they tried to stop a GT from changing hands, the court ruled against them.
As with the rest of the Ford GTs, power comes from a twin-turbo 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 with 647hp (656PS) and 550lb-ft (745Nm) of torque, paired to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. 0-60mph takes less than 3 seconds while top speed is set at 216mph (348km/h).
The car is based in Munich, Germany and carries a price of 1,2 million euros ($1.36 million in current exchange rates). However, if you don’t live in the EU the price drops to 1,1 million euros ($1.26 million). Tempted?
H/T to Eddie!
