The 2020 Ford Bronco isn’t expected to launch for well over 12 months but Texas tuning specialists Hennessey Performance has already started thinking about performance upgrades for the off-roader.

As a matter of fact, the tuner recently added a page to its website dedicated to forthcoming modifications for the all-new Ford Bronco.

According to the company, it will develop upgrades such as a high-flow air induction system, intercooler system, stainless steel exhaust, new suspension, and larger off-road wheels and tires for the Bronco. The tuner also promises a series of other modifications.

It remains to be seen if Ford has already informed Hennessey Performance what engine the Bronco will have or if the tuner simply knows that no matter what engine the off-roader has, it will be able to easily tweak it.

According to recent reports, the 2020 Bronco may use Ford’s 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6, already used by the Edge ST where it delivers a more-than-adequate 335 hp and 380 lb-ft of torque. Knowing Hennessey’s experience with Fords, it could easily bump this engine to well beyond 500 hp.

Despite Ford confirming the existence of a new Bronco quite some time ago, the vehicle is still a long way from reaching the roads. In fact, recent reports assert that the automaker will introduce both the 2020 Explorer and a new F-Series Super Duty before the Bronco arrives. This means we may not see the iconic off-roader return until 2020, likely as a 2021 model.

However, when it does arrive, customers will be pleased to know that aftermarket modifications will be available almost immediately.
