In the world of Japanese tuning companies, few are more famous than Veilside.
Soon after its formation in the early 1990s, Veilside started to produce a number of crazy bodykits for popular Japanese performance cars, including the Toyota Supra, Mazda RX-7, and Honda NSX. The company then gained worldwide recognition after its vehicles were regularly featured in the Fast and Furious franchise.
We haven’t heard much from the company in recent year,s but it is still around and working on a new bodykit for the Toyota 86 and Subaru BRZ twins, despite the duo being more than six years old.
The images you’ll find below show that Veilside hasn’t messed around when it comes to tweaking the exterior styling of the four-cylinder sports cars. In fact, the tuner has developed a brand new hood for the cars, complete with sharp lines and markings which appear to preview cut-outs where air extractors will be featured.
A new bumper has also been developed and it, too, is very aggressive and drastically alters the look of the car.
Veilside hasn’t said when it intends on revealing its Toyota 86/Subaru BRZ bodykit; however, the timing of these photos suggests a launch might not be far away, perhaps at the Tokyo Auto Salon in mid-January.
