ABT’s latest encounter with the new-gen A8 has endowed Audi’s flagship saloon with some modest updates.

That’s meant as a compliment, because there isn’t much that one can do to such a ride without ruining that appealing exterior design. So, no flashy upgrades this time round.

Now, in exchange for your hard-earned cash, the tuner can fit your new A8 with a few aftermarket parts. The aerodynamic package includes front and rear aprons, and a discreet spoiler mounted on the boot lid.

The new 22-inch rims, with a dual-tone finish and Y-spoke pattern, complete the list of changes on the outside. Greeting users in the cabin are the door entry lights, and for an even deeper effect, ABT has added a special gear knob and a carbon ignition button.

ABT’s take on the A8 isn’t all show and no go, as it also comes with a bump in power. The tuner has modified the 3.0-liter TDI diesel engine to pump out 330 PS (325 hp / 243 kW) and 650 Nm (479 lb-ft) of torque, with the extra 44 PS (43 hp / 32 kW) and 50 Nm (37 lb-ft) of torque achieved via a simple ECU remap.
