2019 is a special year for Bentley as it marks 100 years since the company’s creation; among the celebrations for its landmark centenary year, Bentley will reveal a special edition model at the Geneva Motor Show.
The company released a single teaser image together with its announcement, only adding that the new special model will be inspired by one of its iconic racing models.
We already know that Bentley’s celebrations for its centenary include offering a range of unique features under the so-called ‘Centenary Specification’, which is available on all Bentleys built between January and December 2019.
The ‘Centenary Specification’ adds gold badges, treadplates with the ‘1919-2019’ script on them, gold contrast stitching for the cabin and the option of the special Bentley Centenary Gold paint finish that’s been “specifically crafted to shine and reflect light like jewelry”.
What we don’t know is where this new special Bentley will be based on; if we had to guess, our money would be on the Continental GT, as it sounds the most plausible choice for a special model inspired by a racing car.
Bentley will reveal the mysterious Centenary model on March 5, at the Geneva Motor Show.
