Road rage is not a phenomenon exclusive to drivers and riders; pedestrians can catch the bug, too.

Sometimes, people don’t even need a reason to get mad at other road users. All it takes is for someone to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. Just take a look at the following dashcam video that captured a pedestrian getting angry at a driver for no obvious reason.

The footage begins with the cammer approaching an intersection and stopping at the lights. As the car came to a halt, a man walking his dog started crossing the street gesturing, mumbling things at the driver, and giving him the finger. At that exact moment, karma struck in the form of a pole the angry pedestrian “hugged” as he was too preoccupied with behaving rudely to notice it.

Aware that he made a fool of himself, the pedestrian got madder, approaching the car and showing the driver his clenched fist. Understandably, the cammer had a big laugh about the whole thing, which probably put the pedestrian on the brink of implosion. At the end, he fled the scene, leaving the driver (and everyone who will watch this video) dumbfounded.

As far as we know, the driver might still be wondering what he did wrong to trigger that man in such a way. Did he approach the pedestrian crossing too fast? Did he stop the car too close to the crossing? Or was it because the pedestrian was simply having a bad day and decided to blow off steam at the first person he met? Never mind; all is well that ends well. Especially if you have a good laugh without moving your little finger.
