The new Huracan Evo may have made the Aventador SVJ old news, but Lamborghini has made sure that the best, and most hardcore, Aventador ever stays in the limelight.
The following video is all about performance and details some of the cutting-edge technology that equips the Aventador SVJ by comparing it to an F-35 Lightning II fighter jet. To be more precise, they highlight the parts of the supercar that have been inspired by the aircraft, including the lower front end, side skirts and Y-shaped panel that sits on top of the engine compartment.

Firing up the engine will make the driver feel like a pilot thanks to the fighter jet-inspired ignition button that’s embedded into the tall center console. After pushing the button, the naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 comes to life. It is capable of propelling the SVJ to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 2.8 seconds and up to a top speed in excess of 350 km/h (217 mph), courtesy of its 770 PS (759 hp / 566 kW) and 720 Nm (531 lb-ft) of torque.
This footage actually reminds us of a drag race between several high-end machines and an F-16. Lining up at the start line then were a Red Bull Racing Formula One car, an Aston Martin Vantage and a Lotus Evora. The electric vehicles were represented by the Tesla Model S and superbikes by the insane Kawasaki Ninja H2R. You can see that video here, after of coursing the one right below.
Oh, and one more thing: the lime paint job might make the car pop out on the screen, but a matte anthracite or something similar would enhance the stealth jet fighter image even more. Just our two cents…
