Renault is introducing a new, style-focused Captur spec dubbed the S Edition in the UK, with sales set to commence next month.

Pricing for the S Edition TCe 130 with a manual transmission kicks off at £19,625 ($25,423), while the TCe 150 EDC version costs £21,565 ($27,936). Meanwhile, the two 90 PS diesels are priced at £19,785 ($25,630) and £21,025 ($27,236) respectively, for the manual and the auto transmission models.

The biggest highlight onboard the Captur S is the Alcantara upholstery. You have Alcantara seats trimmed with red stitching, whereas the steering wheel, handbrake and gear lever are finished in leather.

You can find more red on the edging of the seven-inch touchscreen display, while further styling elements include the aluminum pedals. Meanwhile, features such as sat-nav, DAB radio, rear parking sensors and automatic headlights and windscreen wipers are all standard.

As for the exterior, which you can get in a choice of six colors, the S Edition boasts Gun Metal Grey lower door accents, same as the front and rear skid plates, and model-exclusive 17-inch ‘Filante’ alloy wheels.

Buyers can choose between three engines, beginning with the dCi 90 diesel, which can be paired either to a five-speed manual or a five-speed EDC (Efficient Dual Clutch) automatic. The petrol units are the TCe 130 and TCe 150, the former with a six-speed manual, and the latter with a six-speed EDC automatic.
