The Geneva International Motor Show may be hosted at one of the smallest venues in the international auto show scene, but the Palexpo Arena, located right next to the Swiss city’s international airport, packs the strongest punch in the industry with well over 200 debuts expected this year.

While other global shows have seen a disturbing number of manufacturers jumping ship, only a few major players will be absent from the motoring extravaganza in Switzerland, namely Ford, Hyundai, Jaguar-Land Rover and Volvo, though the latter’s Polestar sibling will be there with a world premiere.

For 2019, the Swiss show opens with the press and trade days on March 5-6, before welcoming the public on March 7-17.
