Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson may be one of the highest paid actors in Hollywood right now, but you’re not going to see him rolling through the streets of L.A. in a multi-million-dollar hypercar.

You see, measuring 6 ft 5 in (196 cm) and weighing roughly 260 lbs (118 kg) has its disadvantages, and Johnson simply can’t fit in most low-slung performance cars. Consequently, he prefers rolling around in huge pickup trucks more supportive of his size. Thanks to Hennessey Performance, he now has a new pickup to enjoy.

The Texas tuning company recently took to Facebook to share a number of images of The Rock’s latest whip. Painted in bright blue, the pickup once started out life as a regular Ford F-150 Raptor but has been turned into a VelociRaptor by Hennessey.

Modifications include an increased ride height, aggressive matte black bull bar with an LED light bar, huge off-road wheels and tires, and a beefy bumper at the rear. It looks extremely menacing and definitely suits Johnson’s style. The pickup also includes a V8 rather than the twin-turbo EcoBoost V6 usually found in the Raptor.

The Rock isn’t the only celebrity to recently get the keys to a custom VelociRaptor. At the start of the year, rapper Post Malone welcomed a VelociRaptor 6×6 to his burgeoning fleet of vehicles. And if you thought Johnson’s new ride was insane, it has nothing on Malone’s that not only has six wheels, but even a custom .50 caliber machine gun mount in the bed.
