This is the new product of the collaboration between Cyan Racing and Lynk & Co. It’s called the 03 Cyan Concept and is a road legal version of the WTCC race car that was revealed back in October.

With the new 03 Cyan concept, Lynk & Co is actually testing the waters for a future performance offering. As for the car itself, it uses a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder tuned to produce 528hp and 371lb-ft (504Nm) of torque sent the front wheels via a multi-plate limited-slip differential and a six-speed sequential gearbox.

Lynk & Co says that the 03 Cyan concept is capable of a 0-62mph (100km/h) in 4.4 seconds, 0-124mph (200km/h) in 10 seconds, and a 192mph (310km/h) top speed. The turbocharged engine can rev up to 8,000rpm, the transmission can change gears in 60ms while the maximum sideway g-force is set at 1.5G, just in case you thought that this was your run-of-the-mill compact sedan with a bold body kit.

At the front there are six piston calipers with 380mm rotors, with the rear axle employing two piston items with 278mm rotors. The suspension features Öhlins adjustable dampers, while the car rides on 20-inch bespoke Cyan wheels.

The new 03 Cyan concept was engineered by the same team that created Volvo’s 450hp C3 and 508hp S60 concepts and is currently developed on public roads in Spain, alongside the racing version which is getting prepared for the 2019 WTCR season.

“This is a performance concept but it might also be a first step towards a performance offer for Lynk & Co customers were we bring what we learn on the track to the road,” said Christian Dahl, founder and owner of Cyan Racing.
