Nissan has unveiled a one-off pickup called the Ultimate Work Titan.

Based on the Titan XD Diesel Crew Cab Midnight Edition, the Ultimate Work Titan is a heavily customized truck that has been created for Habitat for Humanity.

Designed to aid in building homes for the less fortunate, the truck has been equipped with heavy duty bumpers, aftermarket fender flares and a Warn Zeon Platinum 12-S winch. The Titan also features auxiliary lights, a three-inch lift kit and Icon wheels that are wrapped in 35-inch Nitto Ridge Grappler tires.

More meaningful upgrades occur in the bed as the Titan features a TrailFX ladder rack, a lockable storage system and lockable tool boxes. The latter hold an assortment of tools including a chop saw, air compressor and drill kit.

The upgrades continue in the cabin as designers installed a custom desk and file storage system in the rear passenger compartment. The truck also features a 13-inch laptop and a printer.

While the upgrades sound like overkill, Nissan says they spent “countless hours talking with construction site supervisors and volunteers across the country to find out what they needed most in a truck.” Among the things mentioned were off-road capability, tool storage and a comfortable work space.

Nissan didn’t say much else about the truck, but it uses a 5.0-liter Cummins turbodiesel V8 engine that produces 310 hp (231 kW / 314 PS) and 555 lb-ft (751 Nm) of torque. It is connected to a six-speed automatic transmission which is presumably paired to a four-wheel drive system.

The Ultimate Work Titan will be on display at The Work Truck Show through the end of the week, before being donated to Habitat for Humanity. It’s the latest in a long line of gifts from Nissan as the company has already given the organization more than 150 trucks and $16.9 (£12.8 / €14.9) million since 2005.
