The E30-generation M3 has fast become one of the most desirable BMW models on earth, and finding a reasonably-priced example is getting increasingly difficult. For those looking to pick one up before prices likely skyrocket further, now could be the time to buy.

The BMW M3 featured here is a 1991 example that’s currently up for sale on Bring A Trailer. At the time of writing, the highest bid was sitting at $26,000 with three days left on the auction.

The exterior of the two-door sports car is finished in Diamantschwartz-Metallic (Diamond Black Metallic in English) and appears to be in excellent condition. Making the car stand out further are an M3 Evo-style front splitter and fixed rear wing, as well as a set of 15-inch BBS wheels with 205/55 Yokohama tires and a pair of aftermarket side mirrors.

Prior to the car landing in the hands of the seller, it resided in Arizona from 2007 to 2016, where it was outfitted with Bilstein shocks and H&R springs. The current owner has only put about 2,000 miles (3,218 km) on the clock after approximately a year of ownership. The odometer sits at 126,800 miles (204,064 km), a high number for any E30 M3.

Despite the high-mileage, the powertrain is reportedly in good running condition. Unfortunately, the car was involved in a minor accident in 2009 and had its front passenger-side fender replaced. The cabin is clad in grey leather, has M3-branded floor mats and a new shift knob.

Admittedly, this is no garage queen and the high-mileage will certainly put some buyers off. However, if you’re in the market for a classic M3 that won’t bankrupt you, this could be it.
