McLaren’s offering a wide range of colors for the 600LT. From the usual white, grey and black, to less common options like light blue, green and even purple.

You could bet your hard-earned money that regardless of how many hues are available straight from the factory, someone, somewhere will go the extra mile in an attempt to make their ride stand out. Some will opt for very flashy gold or silver chrome wraps, as we have often seen before, whereas others will choose something even more gauche different, like a chrome purple foil.

This McLaren 600LT was spotted driving in Milan, Italy, not long ago. The British supercar spent a few seconds in front of the camera, but it was enough to earn its way to the World Wide Web. Unfortunately, the video was shot at night, in a poorly illuminated area of the city, so you can use your imagination to try and visualize it under sunlight. On a second thought, if it were daylight, it would be even more retina-burning, so…

Now, as we already mentioned, the color palette for the 600LT is quite generous. It also includes a hue called Lantana Purple, which, to be honest, doesn’t look that different to the wrap paraded by this car, bar the enhanced reflections anyway. So, again, with this many colors to choose from, why would anyone do such a thing to such a nicely executed design? To make everyone stare even if they don’t know what a freaking MacSomething is, that’s why.
