The Alaskan has been in the European market since 2017, so it’s a bit late to present a concept. However, this is exactly what Renault did at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show, stating that it previews a limited edition model that will go on sale this fall.
Finished in Ice White, the exterior is contrasted by black and red elements. It features black styling bars, 18-inch black aluminum rims with all-terrain tires, wing protectors, shark-fin antenna and an exclusive-two tone hardtop with lockable tailgate, which can be replaced by a lockable bed cover or bed protector.

Nissan Navara’s French cousin sports leather seats inside and a Focal audio system with 6 stereo speakers and Dome Flax technology, which are added to the regular Alaskan’s infotainment system, climate control and multi-function steering wheel.
Powering the new Alaskan Ice Edition Concept is the 2.3-liter dCi diesel. Said to be “offering the most economical fuel consumption in the market segment”, it is available in two outputs in the production version of the pickup truck, with 160 PS (158 hp / 118 kW) and 190 PS (187 hp / 140 kW).
Depending on the market, customers can opt for a 2.5-liter petrol or a 2.5-liter diesel as well, mated to a six-speed manual or seven-speed automatic transmission, and with two- or four-wheel drive.
