There probably isn’t a single supercar on the market that looks as good in offbeat colors quite like the Lamborghini Aventador.

Unlike many supercar owners who typically only have their vehicles painted in one of a handful of colors, a lot of Lamborghini customers often opt for more flamboyant hues. This Aventador SVJ, for example, is painted in a mesmerizing shade of red dubbed Rosso Efesto and could very well be the nicest example we’ve ever laid eyes on.

The SV Jwas recently delivered to its owner in the UK and, apart from the stunning red paint, incorporates gold wheels and a number of gloss carbon fiber parts, including large sections of the rear wing and rear fascia.

Unlike some other shades of red which Lamborghini offers, including Rosso Mars, we think this looks much nicer. Whereas the former is bright and eye-catching like traditional shades of Ferrari Red, Rosso Efesto is slightly more subdued and, dare we say, classier.

The Aventador SVJ is the fastest and most hardcore variant of the current Lamborghini flagship produced to date. Powering this track-tuned monster is a naturally-aspirated 6.5-liter V12 delivering 759 hp and 720 Nm (531 lb-ft) of torque. This allows the Italian supercar to reach 62 mph (100 km/h) in 2.8 seconds as well as a top speed exceeding 217 mph (350 km/h).

However, it is on a racetrack where the biggest differences between the SVJ and lesser models can be fully displayed; as you probably know, last year it set a new production car lap record at the Nurburgring with a blistering 6:44.97 lap.
