The Rolls-Royce Phantom is still be the go-to for wealthy businesspeople looking to make a statement and arrive in style. However, if we had the money for a vehicle to be chauffeured around in, we’d probably opt for a Mercedes-Maybach S 560 4MATIC like the one featured below.
Anyone who has ever sat in the current Mercedes-Benz S-Class will know that it is a luxurious and modern place to spend time. In Maybach guise, things are turned up a notch and this particular S 560, thanks to a host of options, is particularly impressive.
Making this S 560 immediately stand out from all others is a special paint scheme combining Maybach Manufaktur’s Aragonite Silver and Anthracite Blue that costs a cool $16,178. A set of 20-inch wheels costing $6673 per set have also been fitted to perfectly complement the paint. As sophisticated as the exterior looks, it is perhaps the cabin that’s even more special.
For starters, two-tone leather upholstery in Silk Beige and Deep Sea Blue is featured throughout to match the exterior paint. Leather like this isn’t cheap and it’s said to cost $4111. Elsewhere, the cabin has been optioned with a $144 Burmester stereo, a $1456 TV tuner, and piano black lacquer priced at $2682.
Special options aside, the cabin of the Maybach S 560 has a much more modern feel to it than any current Rolls-Royce model. The rear seats recline, there’s footrests for those in the second row, and all the massage functions one could ever want.
Buying a Mercedes-Maybach S 560 like this isn’t cheap. In fact, this example in Europe is said to be worth about 214,000 euros, or just over $242,000 in the U.S.
