Jaguar Land Rover is present at the 2019 New York Auto Show with two local premieres: the facelifted XE, and the Range Rover Velar SVAutobiography Dynamic Edition.

With fresh styling inspired by the F-Type and an updated cabin, the 2020 XE will arrive at dealers this summer with a choice of two engines.

The base XE S has an MSRP of $39,900 and uses a 247 hp (250 PS / 184 kW) 2.0-liter turbo-four. This model can be specced with AWD for an extra $2,000. The XE R-Dynamic S has standard all-wheel drive and a 296 hp (300 PS / 221 kW) four-banger, along with a starting price of $46,295.

Both versions of the premium compact sedan get the Jaguar EliteCare package, which includes 5-year/60,000-mile (96,561 km) warranty, 24/7 roadside assistance, complimentary scheduled maintenance and the InControl Remote & Protect for the first five years, regardless of the mileage.

Range Rover’s third model to wear the SVAutobiography nameplate, the Velar Dynamic Edition, is available for one year only. It has four color combinations inside and features heated and cooled power seats at the front with memory and massage functions as standard.

More importantly, though, it’s the quickest Velar ever, thanks to the 5.0-liter supercharged V8 engine, which pushes out 542 hp (550 PS / 404 kW) and 502 lb-ft (681 Nm) of torque. The SUV goes to 60 mph (96 km/h) in 4.3 seconds (0-62mph/0-100km/h in 4.5 sec) and has a 170 mph (274 km/h) electronically limited top speed.

The new Range Rover Evoque is displayed in New York as well. It comes with a $42,650 starting price and a choice of five trim levels called the S, SE, R-Dynamic S, R-Dynamic SE and R-Dynamic HSE. Available in the first year only is the First Edition model.

The 2019 Evoque can be equipped with a 296 horsepower mild-hybrid powertrain and it’s the first vehicle to feature the ClearSight GroundView technology, which allows the driver to virtually see through the hood and under the front end by projecting a 180-degree imagery on the display.

JLR’s new 2019 World Car of the Year winner, the I-Pace, is also on display, along with the mild-hybrid and PHEV versions of the Range Rover Sport.
