The annual Jeep Easter Safari in Moab, Utah is less than two weeks away, and the automaker has decided to give us a sneak peak at two of its upcoming concepts.
While the teaser images aren’t particularly revealing, at least one of them appears to showcase a highly customized Jeep Gladiator, wearing a special livery and massive off-road tires. The other one could be a single cab Wrangler equipped with additional lighting units, wearing the J6 moniker.
“The Jeep and Mopar brands have created several concept vehicles for the annual Easter Jeep Safari,” said the American carmaker in an extremely brief statement.
“These These images hint at two of the new concept vehicles that will head to Moab, April 13-21. Look for more information and images soon.”
As you can see, Jeep is playing this one pretty close to the chest, not giving us much to go on. However, they did the exact same thing last year, so we’re quite used to them teasing us with just a couple of concepts, whereas the official unveiling will feature many.
At the 2018 event, Jeep unveiled seven different concepts in the Sandstorm, J-Wagon, 4SPEED, B-Ute, Jeepster, Nacho and the Wagonner Roadtrip. Where the Sandstorm, 4SPEED, J-Wagon, Jeepster and Nacho were all based on the Wrangler, the B-Ute was a Renegade with unique fascias, flared fenders, a 1.5-inch lift kit and more.
We expect more of the same this year, with several different Jeep models showing off their off-road prowess. Don’t be surprised if the Gladiator takes center stage, naturally.
