The Grand Tour’s third season only has a couple of more episodes left and what a season it has been.
The series kicked off on a particular high with a trio test of muscle cars in Detroit and then, Clarkson, Hammond, and May headed to Colombia for a hilarious two-part special. Since then, the series has traveled to various other countries around the world and a host of extremely impressive vehicles have been tested.
Last week’s episode featured the usual recipe of cool cars but also included a segment about airports. More specially, how far you have to walk in airport with your luggage. Jeremy Clarkson and Richard Hammond aimed to solve this with a little bit of ingenuity.

The start of the segment, which can be viewed below, shows the duo checking in and going through security at the UK’s Stansted Airport. Not satisfied with wheeling a suitcase around everywhere he goes, Clarkson brought along a small suitcase which runs on batteries and can be converted into a car (of sorts…), helping him to breeze through the airport without having to walk for miles on end.
Hammond, on the other hand, created a laptop which doubles as an electric skateboard. The finished product looks very dangerous but it does appear to be quite effective.
This week’s episode of The Grand Tour will be a mini-special as the trio are dropped into Mongolia and forced to survive with limited supplies and basic rations.
