Audi’s official Canadian website has revealed that the new 2019 Audi Q3 will start at $38,900 in Canada.
The German car manufacturer has yet to publicly announce North American pricing for the new Q3, but Carscoops reader Nick Bannin revealed to us that the brand’s website lists the SUV’s starting price.
While it remains to be seen what features the entry-level Q3 will have in Canada, we do now have a rough idea of how much the vehicle may cost in the United States.
Pricing for the previous Audi Q3 started at $33,875 in the United States but the old car was available with front-wheel drive. This new model is offered exclusively with all-wheel drive so U.S. pricing will inevitably be a little higher. A figure somewhere between $34,000 and $38,900 can be expected with Car and Driver speculating a starting price probably close to $36,000. There’s a good chance base Q3 models sold in Canada and the United States will be virtually identical.
In the U.S., the second-generation Q3 will be sold exclusively with a turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-four mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission and Quattro all-wheel drive as standard. In base form, this powertrain pumps out 228 hp and 258 lb-ft (350 Nm) of torque and should allow the SUV to hit 62 mph (100 km/h) in roughly six seconds. European buyers of the new Audi have a number of additional petrol and diesel engines to choose from.
Those looking to purchase the new Audi Q3 in the U.S., as well as Canada, will be pleased to know the vehicle is loaded with tech, including Audi’s Virtual Cockpit which consists of a 12.3-inch digital display in the instrument cluster. Additionally, the SUV incorporates a 10.1-inch central touchscreen and active safety features including blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert.
Hat tip to Nick Bannin!
