Nio is one of the automakers that will go all-in on the 2019 Shanghai Auto Show. The Chinese company will display its range of electric cars on its home turf as well as a new concept.
The teaser image seems to depict a two-door coupe, with an elegant profile, long doors and muscular rear wheel arches. They haven’t announced anything about it yet, but it should follow in the footsteps of other Nio models and have an electric powertrain.
Another novelty for the car event that kicks off in China in a couple of weeks will be the Nio Power, which is described as “the comprehensive power solution”. The company will also present their “latest achievements and advances in R&D”.

The high-performance model has a 194 mph (313 km/h) top speed and 265 miles (427 km) of range, and has lapped the Nurburgring in 6 minutes and 45.90 seconds.
The Nio Eve Concept was already unveiled last year at Auto China, and will be brought to Shanghai to impress visitors with its futuristic exterior styling, lounge-like interior and 643 hp (652 PS / 480 kW) electric powertrain. It will be joined at the company’s stand by the 536 hp (544 PS / 400 kW) ES6 and 643 hp (652 PS / 480 kW) ES8 SUVs.
