The large wheels and low ground clearance trend has struck again, only this time we’re not looking at a high-end SUV, but rather at the compact Volkswagen T-Roc.
Instead of turning to an aftermarket manufacturer, the small SUV’ owner preferred something from another VW Group brand. Only it wasn’t a set of, say Audi Q3 or Q5 ones, but a quartet of Bentley-badged rims. And that’s just our 2 cents, but they are not that great of a fit for the T-Roc.

However, this set of wheels goes hand-in-hand with a tarmac-scrapping lowered ride height. And while the slammed look totally defines the purpose of getting a crossover, it’s the other dominating feature of this T-Roc. Moreover, this French-registered small SUV allegedly has been fitter with an air suspension, so we presume that its ride height could be increased so as to make it driveable on actual roads instead of just looking weird rad on Instagram.
Mind you, this isn’t the full-blown R version of the T-Roc, but the R-Line, which adds a sporty touch to both the exterior and the cockpit. A sportier body kit, 18- or 19-inch wheels, leather-wrapped sport steering wheel, two-tone seat trim with faux leather accents, black roof liner and others set it apart from the rest of the models.
So what do you think: does this small-SUV-turned-extremely-low-hatchback with Bentley wheels look OK or OTT? Have your say in the comments section below.
