Fancy a 1985 MG Metro 6R4 Group B rally car that’s never been driven? This particular unit is #189 of 200 and is said to have just seven miles (11.2 km) on the clock!

Bought originally by an enthusiast back in 1986, the car was then transported directly to his home where it was stored away in its delivery state, which is still being maintained according to Silverstone Auctions. As for price, it could fetch anywhere between £200,000 ($252k) and £240,000 ($300k).

In 1996, the original owner offered the vehicle to the Donington Museum on a long-term basis, where it went on to spend the next six years before reaching the current vendor in 2002. In total, it has been driven just seven miles (11.2 km), two of which were added by running the car and drivetrain on stands.

The reason for such a high asking price is the fact that it could very well be the only such Metro 6R4 in the world in this “out-of-the-box” condition. However, despite basically being described as new, we wouldn’t go as far as to say it’s in mint conditions, as both the exterior as well as the interior could use some work.

The 6R4 is powered by a 3.0-liter V6 positioned behind the front seats and driving all four wheels. When new, it was available in two guises: a Clubman model with some 250 HP (253 PS) and an even more rare 410 HP (416 PS) version.
