The Ford Mustang camera car built to film 2014’s Need for Speed is currently up for sale on eBay.
The listing reveals that this Mustang is a 2013 GT model that underwent a series of modifications before it started filming duties. Most significantly, it was upgraded by Saleen who fitted it with a massive supercharger to bump grunt up to 625 hp, larger brakes, 3.73 rear gearing, Shaker stereo system, Corbeau racing seats, new seat belts and a custom roll cage.
Those responsible for rigging the car also modded the exterior so it could hold heaps of camera equipment. Consequently, it now supports a glass hatch, a bar across the front bumper and a plethora of other steel brackets. A matte black paint scheme really makes the vehicle look the part.

There are a couple of issues with the car, including an airbag light which was triggered after the passenger-side dashboard was removed. There is also a ‘Trunk Ajar’ notification on the dash because of the serious alterations made at the rear. However, the car appears to be in good shape and has 7,791 miles (12,538 km) under its belt; not much for a Mustang which is six years old.
Buying this unique piece, which was also also offered for sale back in 2018, will set you back $34,900. Any takers?
