One of the best things about the current crop of mid-size premium sedans is that, in the right color and spec, they can look really dashing.
The person that ordered this new A6 sedan must have thought the exact same thing, opting to go with a highly customized interior through Audi Exclusive, plus an s-line exterior dipped in a light shade of metallic brown. However, it’s the cabin that really stands out.
It’s always risky to use multiple warm yet similar colors when it comes to car interiors. We count at least four different shades of brown (wood inserts included), which gives off a very late 1970s vibe, color-wise. You either love it or hate it – and we stand in the latter category.

The exterior features several chrome elements (grille, window surrounds, fake exhaust surrounds, trunk strip) which work well in contrast with the surprisingly grey-ish shade of brown – it’s hard to pinpoint exactly which type of metallic brown this is due how it looks under artificial lighting.
This is a 50 TDI quattro model, which means that it is powered by a mild-hybrid 3.0-liter TDI V6 diesel with 282 HP (286 PS) and 457 lb-ft (620 Nm) of torque sent to all four corners via an eight-speed auto gearbox. While it may not sound like a lot of power, this A6 can still accelerate to 62 mph (100 km/h) in a brisk 5.5 seconds.
