The Honda S2000 is a sports car in high demand right now and a sleek silver example has found its way onto Bring A Trailer.
This S2000 is an AP1-generation model from 2001 and has just 27,000 miles (43,452 km) under its belt. The car is being offered with a clean Carfax report and a clean Tennessee title in the seller’s name, and could prove to be quite a good investment in a few years.

It’s no secret that prices of highly regarded Japanese sports cars from the late 1990s and early 2000s are on the rise and low-mileage ones are becoming prized collectors’ items. This S2K is no different, and while the top bid was sitting at $15,000 at the time of writing, there are still six days ’till the auction ends and we expect the sports car to sell for much more than that. In fact, the current owner of this S2000 purchased the car just 13 months ago for $18,750 during a previous Bring A Trailer auction and is likely hoping to get over $20,000 for it.
While more than a few S2000 owners enjoy modifying their cars, this one appears to be totally stock. The Silverstone Metallic paint is the original one and the seller says they’ve perfected the paint and applied a ceramic coating to it, while the 16-inch wheels were recently machined and clear-coated.
As for the cabin, it is dominated by red leather on the seats and door panels and also includes red carpets and floor mats. All told, the car looks to be in superb condition and a report from Lemon Squad notes that the 2.0-liter naturally-aspirated four-cylinder engine runs smoothly.
