Florida never stops surprising us and usually not in a good way.
Unfortunately, that trend continues as the Clearwater Police Department has arrested Corey Feldman on a long list of charges.
According to the department, Feldman stole a Mercedes-AMG CLS from an acquaintance at the Speedway gas station located near Court and Chestnut Street. After stealing the car, he took off speeding down Court Street.

Feldman eventually rear ended a BMW and the force of the impact was so severe that it left the other driver in critical condition and “clinging to life in a local hospital.” The BMW’s passenger was also injured, but police didn’t elaborate on their condition.

BayNews9 reports the accident occurred shortly before 12:30 am and Feldman ran away from the scene following the crash. Police were eventually able to track him down at a nearby hotel where he was reportedly hiding.
The Clearwater Police Department says Feldman now faces a long list of charges including “grand theft auto, DUI with serious bodily injury, leaving the scene of a crash involving serious bodily injury, careless driving and driving with a suspended license.” The department went on to say Feldman is currently behind bars at the Pinellas County Jail which is a “place where he has been booked multiple times in the past.” Police didn’t go into too many specifics, but said Feldman had a prior DUI.
