Used Toyota Supra prices are on the rise and the following Twin Turbo edition from 1997 on Bring A Trailer, is one of the cleanest examples we’ve come across.
This particular Supra is finished in Deep Jewel Green Pearl and has had one owner – something that only adds to its desirability. Since being purchased, said owner has put 62,500 miles (100,584 km) on the clock and the sports car is being offered with the original window sticker, factory owner’s manual, a clean Carfax report, and a clean California title.
The seller says that the car has been stored in a garage its entire life, having received some minor front-end damage after hitting debris on a freeway. However, all damaged panels were replaced and the entire car has been repainted in its original color. Contrasting the green paint are polished 17-inch wheels. Also found on the exterior of the Supra are 15th Anniversary Special Edition badges on the front fenders. The car also retains its factory rear spoiler and color-matched removable roof.
The cabin of this ’97 Supra features Ivory leather upholstery as well as a number of black plastic surfaces. Additionally, the factory steering wheel, shifter, and double-DIN stereo have all been maintained and the listing notes that there is a small hole in the driver’s side floor mat.
When it left the factory, the twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six engine pumped out 320 hp and 315 lb-ft (427 Nm) of torque. This engine is mated to a six-speed manual transmission sending power to the rear wheels through a limited-slip differential.
At the time of writing, the car had a highest bid of $60,000 with four days left in the auction, up from $30,000 a few days ago. We wouldn’t be surprised to see it sell for over $100,000.
