Our used cars searches are filled with classics or exotics that cost a pretty penny. But every once in a while, we come across some very affordable rides that are worthy of sharing, such as this 1990 Nissan 240SX.
Better known as the Silvia in markets outside North America, it’s offered for sale in Canada. And it won’t burn a hole in your pockets either, because the asking price is just CAD $7,500, which equals to USD $5,569 at today’s exchange rates.

Allow us to walk you through some of the key aspects that should interest a potential buyer. While the Z series and GT-R grab all the attention from Nissan’s lineup, the pop-up headlight Silvia / SX is a decent rear-wheel drive sports car. Powered by a 2.4-liter inline four, this example is said to be in original condition aside from the exhaust system. Furthermore, it’s been with the same owner ever since it left the dealer lot in 1990, and has only 66,156 km (41,107 miles) on the odo.
Now, there are some issues that its future owner will have to take care of, such as the rust on the left side, but that’s to be expected from a 30 year old car. If everything the seller claims in the listing checks out (one should always be vigilant with used cars), it doesn’t sound like a bad deal.
