A speeding vehicle in the Russian city of Cheboksary has caused chaos in traffic after slamming head-on into a trio of cars.
Dashcam footage from one of the vehicles shows a small white hatchback or sedan speeding around a right-hand bend in the road and crossing into the opposing lanes of traffic. It looks as though the driver at fault was going far too fast around that corner and violently understeered into traffic, slamming head-on into another vehicle.
The impact sends this second white car flying backwards, hitting the car with the dashcam. A fourth car off to the side also gets caught up in the carnage.

What makes the footage all the more shocking is that it shows the driver of the white car which took the brunt of the impact, looking around in disbelief as to what just happened. It appears as though the steering wheel airbag of his car deployed but there are no side or curtain airbags in sight. Also, the driver’s side window shattered and much of the front end had been crumpled. We don’t know the extent of his injuries, but this crash could have very easily been fatal.
As for the speeding vehicle, it disappears off camera immediately following the impact – although it kind of looks as if it may have rolled over.
We haven’t been able to find any additional information about the crash, but we will update this post if / when we do.
