This 1994 Ford F-150 SVT Lightning Isn’t Bad For $23k

It was hard to find a more desirable pickup truck than the F-150 SVT Lightning back in the day. One could think of it as the equivalent of today’s F-150 Raptor but while it was more performance-focused than the regular F-150, that performance was aimed at the street and not enhanced off-road capabilities like the Raptor.

The Lightning was first introduced for the truck’s ninth generation and was fitted with a naturally-aspirated 5.8-liter V8 engine from the factory with a total of 240 hp and 340 lb-ft (460 Nm) of torque. Those figures may not be anything to write home about nowadays but they made the SVT Lightning quite the performer back in the day.

This particular 1994 example is painted in a bright shade of red and the listing states that it has a number of small bolt-on mods but doesn’t specify what they are. It would be nice to have those details but online bidders can rest easy knowing that the pickup truck only has 28,430 miles (45,753 km), not much for a vehicle which is 25 years old.

Thanks to the low-mileage, both the interior and exterior of the truck appear to be in excellent condition. Heck, even the bed itself looks brand new. With this being said, there are obvious signs of wear under the car where rust is visible in a number of areas.

The ‘Buy it now’ price sits at $22,900 which isn’t cheap but quite reflective of the low miles.
