In Russia, there is a man called Arthur Tussik who runs a popular YouTube channel and is an expert in car repair. If a car is damaged, you can bet your bottom dollar that Tussik will get his hands on it and fix it.
In his latest video, the master repair guru picked up a Lamborghini Gallardo which suffered extensive damage after crashing at high speed. Not daunted at the thought of repairing a wrecked Italian supercar, Tussik set about to restore it back to life. The video below is part one of three which will be released about the car and focuses on the repairs of the car’s damaged rear frame.

Work begins by removing most of the car’s body panels in order to gain free access to the rear half where the frame has been bent and damaged. Tussik didn’t have any blueprints to base his repairs off and instead used his expertise to pull and manipulate the aluminum frame back into its original position. This involves some heavy duty materials and strong pulleys with the aluminum itself also being heated up so it can be reformed. It is pretty mesmerizing to watch.
Tussik tries to repair as many original components as he can but does have to install a number of new aluminum parts to return the rear frame back to its original condition.
Of course, watching a Gallardo’s frame get repaired like this is fascinating but we’re not entirely convinced the repaired frame would be as strong as it was once it left the factory. Nevertheless, we’d rather see someone try to repair it than it instead heading straight to a scrapyard.
