If none of the above tickles your fancy and you still want to see this Renault 5 Turbo parked in your garage, then here’s the lowdown: it sports a Blue Olympe exterior on top of a red and blue interior, has 84,000 km (52,195 miles) on the clock, has been in the possession of a French family for most of its life, although the total number of owners is believed to be three, and its condition is all original.
The 5 Turbo Series 1 was built in less than 600 units, came with a mid-mounted 1.4-liter engine making 160 horsepower and rear-wheel drive. It also featured modified suspension, widened track, flared wheel arches and aluminum bodywork. When it broke cover at the Brussels Motor Show in 1980, in Belgium, it was the most powerful French car in production at the time.
