The Rezvani Tank made its big screen debut over the weekend, but the company has released the first teaser images of the 2020 model.

Set to be launched this summer, the 2020 Tank is billed as “all-new” as it doesn’t share any parts with its predecessor. The company didn’t elaborate much, but confirmed the SUV will have a body-on-frame design as well as a “world-class suspension system designed in partnership” with FOX.

The model will also come equipped with “massive off-road tires” that give the Tank “serious off-road chops.” Buyers with deeper pockets will be able to opt for the Tank X which has a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine that now develops more than 1000 hp (746 kW / 1014 PS).

If that wasn’t impressive enough, the new Tank Military Edition will have “military grade” EMP protection which is rated to protect against E1, E2 and E3 electromagnetic pulses. Besides being able to star in a Goldeneye remake, the Tank Military Edition will once again be bullet proof.

The teaser images don’t reveal much, but they suggest the 2020 Tank will have a new front bumper, a revised hood and restyled fenders. We can also see a larger greenhouse, more traditional door handles and a rakish rear window.

In a statement, CEO Ferris Rezvani said the Tank was will offer a “fresh design” while still being a “purpose-built, rugged, off-road capable” SUV. He went on to say the 2020 Tank draws inspiration from “extreme off-road concepts,” but will be able to be “driven and enjoyed as a daily driver.”

The company is currently accepting pre-orders in exchange for a $2,500 refundable deposit. The model will be unveiled in a few weeks and the first deliveries will begin this summer.
