Given how popular Chevy’s sports car is and the lineup’s remarkable breadth, it’s not easy to stand out driving around in a Corvette C7.
Some do not give up that easily, though, and tuning companies are more than happy to satisfy their most outlandish customizing requests.
One particular owner from Florida asked TS Designs to apply its widebody kit to their Corvette Convertible. Nothing unusual about that; quite the contrary, as the beefier fenders do make the Vette look meaner.

Built in collaboration with Forgiato, the widebody kit comes in handy if you wish to replace the Corvette’s standard wheels with massive aftermarket rims. In this particular case, the owner went for a set of staggered Forgiato GTRs, sized 20 inches at the front and 22 at the back.
As you can see, the wild wheels are painted gold to match the eye-catching wrap that mimics the color and shine of the precious metal. Surprisingly, some parts of the car escaped the golden treatment. Those include the red brake calipers and the black aerodynamic elements including the fender vents, front splitter, rear wing, and rear diffuser. The gold theme continues inside, though, with accents on the seats and door panels.
Interestingly, the owner has another widebody C7 Corvette in blue that they use as a daily driver – which might mean that the gold car is their weekend ride. Got every base covered then, don’t they?
