Ever seen a Chevrolet Tahoe do donuts? Probably not – but you’re about to, although it’s not the stock version but a Hennessey-modified example.
The tuner has applied its HPE500 kit that’s available for the 2015-2019 Tahoes powered by the 5.3-liter V8. The list of upgrades is generous and includes the 2.9-liter supercharger, high flow intercooling, new engine management calibration, gaskets, fluids and hardware.

As for the result? That would be an impressive 508 HP. The extra 153 horsepower have met the requirements of the owner, who wanted to make his SUV even faster. The Hennessey-tuned Tahoe also gets the usual serial number plaques in the engine compartment and inside, special exterior badging and embroidered floor mats, as well as a 3-year / 36,000-mile (57,936 km) warranty.
Before delivering the Tahoe, after working on it for about 3 weeks, the tuner has tested it on the dyno and on the road. As a final show-stealer, they unleashed ιτ on a closed course, proving that you can do donuts in a 6,500 lbs (2,948 kg) weighing vehicle easily. The stunt was made at the owner’s request, who admitted that he needs new tires for his ride and wanted to send these off in style. Did he manage that? You bet he did!
