While it can sometimes be difficult to determine if a vehicle will prove to be a future classic, we’re very confident in saying that the Ferrari 458 Speciale A is definitely going to achieve that status.
The droptop version of the 458 Speciale was introduced at the Frankfurt Auto Show in 2014 and production was capped to just 499 examples worldwide.
Not only does the limited vehicle run immediately make the car especially desirable, but the fact that it is also the final mid-engined production car from Ferrari to feature a naturally aspirated V8 elevates it to another plane altogether; and this particular car that’s currently for sale in the UK might be one of the finest anywhere on earth.

Unlike most other 458 Speciale As, this one is finished in a light shade of blue dubbed Azzurro California which is complemented by a dark blue and silver racing stripe. The supercar also includes black and silver rims and numerous carbon fiber parts across the exterior, including the fins on the side skirts, central part of the front splitter, engine cover, and diffuser.
The original owner clearly has impeccable taste, as the interior is absolutely glorious and includes tan-colored Alcantara on most of the surfaces that’s offset with some trimmings in Tessuto 3D Fabric Blu. No 458 Speciale A is meant to be luxurious, but the Alcantara of this example certainly makes it feel plusher than most.
The car is listed for sale on James Edition with a £675,000 GDP, or $853,847 at today’s exchange rates.
