Are people ever going to stop actively coming up with ways in which to crash their Mustangs? At this rate, we wouldn’t be surprised if it somehow kept happening even after the adoption of Level 5 autonomous features.

Seriously though, we’ve come to expect something bad happening every time we see a Mustang spin its rear wheels or rev its engine. It’s almost inevitable. So yes, this latest incident ended just how we expected it to end, with an out-of-control car.

The “action” took place in Muscat, Oman’s capital city, and by the looks of it, the driver of the car was attempting to intentionally break traction while accelerating. When the car did finally lose balance, it of course caught the driver by surprise, as they were unable to keep it on the road.

Because of the poor quality of the video, we can’t see what exactly the Mustang ended up hitting. We do hear a thump as it hops on the sidewalk, but what happened afterwards remains unknown – it’s possible it hit a parked car or the side of that nearby building.

In the end, if you’re familiar with the trouble some Mustang owners tend to get into, you’ll probably realize that while embarrassing, this crash wasn’t even close to being the harshest we’ve ever seen.

For starters, nothing will ever beat those half a dozen Mustangs who crashed into each other following a Dubai meet. Then there’s the Mustang driver who nearly crashed into a crowd of people while trying to powerslide. The list just goes on and on.
