The global press launch of the all-new GLS was recently held in Salt Lake City, Utah, and Mercedes has released a large image gallery of its luxury SUV.

These images show the GLS in a number of different guises in stunning locations throughout the region and in a number of different guises. Among the models pictured are the range-topping GLS 580, the GLS 450 and the and GLS 400d.

Of course, the diesel won’t be offered Stateside (this is a global launch, remember?), so those looking to pick up the new GLS in the U.S. only get to choose between the two petrol-engined ones.

Prices for tart at $76,195 including a $995 destination and delivery fee.

Opting for the range-topping GLS 580 gets you a 4.0-liter V8 engine with the same 48-volt EQ Boost mild-hybrid technology, which delivers a total of 483 hp and 516 lb-ft (699 Nm) of torque and comes standard with a nine-speed automatic transmission. Pricing is, naturally, much steeper, as it starts at a cool $97,800 before taxes and options.
