The first episode of Series 27 aired over the weekend, but on YouTube, Top Gear decided to remember one of the very best segments from last season.

For this adventure, Chris Harris and Matt LeBlanc headed to Norway to test the Porsche Panamera Turbo Sport Turismo and the Ferrari GTC4Lusso. This clip doesn’t show the entire review, but does include some wild drifting scenes as well as the late-braking challenge you probably saw earlier this year.

For this review, Harris was piloting the Panamera, while LeBlanc had the shouty Ferrari. The former may be the better driver of the two, but not even he could compete with the much more powerful (and expensive) Ferrari in a straight line.

You see, whereas the Porsche is powered by a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 with 542 hp and 567 lb-ft (768 Nm) of torque, the GTC4Lusso sports a naturally aspirated 6.3-liter V12 with 680 hp and 514 lb-ft (696 Nm) of torque. Harris is a big fan of the Ferrari, having tested it in the past, and while we’re sure it is an absolute hoot to drive, we do prefer the styling of the Porsche – but that’s highly subjective.

If the Panamera Turbo Sport Turismo isn’t enough for you, Porsche does sell the car in Turbo S E-Hybrid guise. This model pumps out 671 hp and 627 lb-ft from its twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 and electric motor setup, making it better suited to tackle the Ferrari. Not that we’re complaining either way…
