For most major manufacturers, there’s no such thing as having too many SUVs; the same stands for Kia, which is now preparing the launch of the brand new the Seltos subcompact crossover.
Set to join the Stonic, Niro, Sportage, Sorento and Telluride in the brand’s ever-expanding high-riding vehicle lineup, as well as the upcoming XCeed, the Seltos has now been teased on video.

With a boxy overall styling that reminds of the Suzuki Vitara, up to a point, youthful lines and the ability to be had with a dual-tone finish, the Seltos will be targeting millennials.
Inside, the Seltos boasts a free-floating, 10.25-inch infotainment system right above the air vents, a thre-spoke steering wheel and colorful trim, as well as the usual convenience features like automatic climate control, Bluetooth, voice control and heated steering wheel, along with a Sound Mood Lighting feature. Moreover, it appears to have a drive-mode selector next to the gear shifter, as well as hill descent control, cruise control and stop/start function.
Kia previously said it will unveil the Seltos online this month, so we’re only a few days/weeks away from seeing the official photo gallery and learning everything about it. Sales will kick off in Korea and select global markets in the second half of the year.
