Need more power for your Audi SQ2? One of the tuners to go to is ABT Sportsline, which has added Ingolstadt’s sporty SUV to its portfolio.

As usual, the German tuning house has replaced the stock engine control unit with their own. The software optimization has squeezed out an extra 50 PS (49 hp / 37 kW) and 40 Nm (30 lb-ft) of torque from the 2.0-liter turbo four that, out of the factory, deliverst 300 PS (296 hp / 221 kW) and 400 Nm (295 lb-ft) of torque.

With 350 PS (345 hp / 257 kW) and 440 Nm (325 lb-ft), the tuned SQ2 has become as powerful as the Porsche 718 Boxster S. It’s not as quick, though (logical, since it’s heavier and less aerodynamic), but ABT has managed to shave a couple of tenths of a second from the 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph), which now takes 4.6 seconds. The speed limiter has also been removed, so the SQ2 can max out at 262 km/h (163 mph), or 12 km/h (7 mph) more than before.

The stance of the SQ2 has been enhanced with the addition of new wheels. ABT has a generous range of rims in its offering, in 19 and 20 inces, from its DR, ER-C, FR and GR series. Depending on the selection, they can be had in mystic black with diamond-machined lip, like the example pictured in the gallery right below, and they come with a wheel-spacer kit as well.
